MyIntent’s £249 Basic Will and £349 Basic Mirror Wills, including VAT, come with legal advice: after its online interview you can book a free 30-minute video appointment with a legal adviser, who prepares the will. SwiftWill’s £35 and £55 buy automated preparation without advice. The two are different services, so the price gap is not a like-for-like saving.

## Can you get a MyIntent will for free?

Sometimes. Its price list shows a free Basic Will for people who register through a qualifying charity’s MyIntent page, with a mirror will for a partner at £175. ## What costs extra?

Its published price list quotes extras such as a specific gift (£175), inheritance tax advice (from £250), a property protection trust (£557) and other will trusts (from £950), plus £20 to print and post.
