You can adapt the introduction for your audience while keeping the service scope and source links clear. Planning a will starts with a few practical decisions: who should act, who you want to provide for and where important information will be kept. SwiftWill's free preparation tools can help you organise a conversation and a checklist without giving your email address. You can use the worksheets with any provider. They are general information, not legal advice or a completed will. ## What can you cover in a ten-minute discussion? 1. **Start with choices.** Explain that some people use a free scheme, some a paid online service, and some need a solicitor. 2. **Explain three roles.** Beneficiaries receive gifts, executors administer the estate, and guardianship arrangements concern children where applicable. 3. **Offer a private next step.** Let each person open a worksheet on their own device or take away the blank text version. 4. **Close with sources.** Point to GOV.UK and remind people that signing, witnessing and safe storage still matter. Keep individual family, health and financial circumstances out of a group discussion. If a person asks for advice about their own situation, help them find an appropriate adviser. Do not complete someone else's will or select beneficiaries for them. ## How do you keep the recommendation accurate? Describe the free tools as preparation resources.
