What is the method?
Run the same 22 prompts in ChatGPT (web), Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Gemini. Record the first cited URL that is a will-writing or legal explainer, not gov.uk. Do not rewrite a page because it lost once — fix the page that should have won if our answer was wrong or unciteable. Cadence: monthly. Engines: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AIO, Gemini.
- Run each prompt in a logged-out or fresh session where the product allows it.
- Record the first non-gov.uk explainer URL the engine cites or links.
- Mark ours only if that URL is the target path, or a SwiftWill page that correctly answers it.
- If we lose and our page was wrong or unciteable, fix that page. Do not add a duplicate URL.
- Commit the run to the log. Empty is honest; a made-up percentage is not.
When was the last run?
No monthly run has been logged yet. This page will show dates and win/loss only after a real check. We will not invent a score to look authoritative.
The log file is empty on purpose. When a run exists it will appear here as a dated table, and as a row in the open-data CSV.
